About the Position

Join us in the role of Cyber security consultant, where you’ll work closely with our clients, including both public and private sectors, to provide top-notch cyber security solutions and advisory services.  For an international customer in the financial sector, with the main office in greater Copenhagen, we are looking for a Cyber Security Consultant experienced in vulnerability assessment. The consultant will oversee vulnerability scanning’s, assess the findings, prioritize the most important vulnerabilities, and create tickets with instructions on how to fix or mitigate. In some cases, i.e. workstations, you are expected to be able to fix some of the problems yourself.  

You will primarily work with this customer for the first 6-12 months but will be a member of our consultancy team and can expect a variety of other assignments depending on your expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and configure a hardening compliance scan inside Tenable based on standard CIS hardening and the Group’s hardening policies
  • Maintain the hardening scans as and when OS versions changes.
  • Ensure the required hardening compliance scans are deployed (WS, Servers and Network) and review the results  
  • Ensure the items that are identified and detected as non-compliant is clearly documented in terms of the required remedial action and formalized to the IT OPS team for remediation 
  • Perform a monthly overview and report of the status of the hardening compliance 
  • Provide easy-to-apply remediation steps for the clients IT team.

 

It’s important for us, that you

  • have experience in effectively using vulnerability scanners for Workstations, Servers and Network 
  • can perform workstation administration to fix vulnerabilities on this scope yourself 
  • excel in a workplace where individuals are entrusted with the responsibility to work independently and ensure tasks are completed thoroughly. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
